This may involve finding a specific area in Lubbock that may be close to good schools or find in a home that has a gourmet kitchen. Every person has specific needs and wants and understanding what yours are is going to allow you to have a much easier time searching for that particular home. This is going to be due to the number of bedrooms, the condition of the home as well as the location of the home. It is going to be up to you to determine how much you can afford for a monthly rental. Lubbock TX Restaurants That Would Make For Great Family Stops

When you’ve got hungry kids and a churning belly yourself, it’s time to find a place to eat. Where are you and your husband or wife going to stop to eat as a family? Well, I’m going to give you some good ideas for when you’re in Lubbock. I think you will enjoy these restaurants. Hopefully one of them will be appealing in terms of what everyone wants to eat right now.

Is it pizza time? Well, if it is, then the absolute best bet is One Guy Pizza. The pizzas look delicious, and you’re going to find this restaurant on University Avenue over by the Texas Tech campus. There are actually two locations, but this one has the better ranking. You’re talking about a casual hole in the wall type restaurant that features NY style pizza, calzones, chocolate cake and more.

And while there are many great places to sit down with your family and eat barbecue. I can tell you one tops the list in Lubbock. It’s called The Shack, and you’re going to find it on Frankford Avenue. How does a plate of sliced brisket, collard greens, ribs, potato salad and banana pudding for dessert sound to you? A frito pie also sounds delish, and it makes the menu highlights as well. I haven’t had one of those since I visited a snack bar at the wave pool.

When you and your family are in the mood for breakfast, perhaps the best stop would be The Pancake House. It’s one of the best rated places to eat breakfast in Lubbock. You’re looking for 510 Avenue Q, and a home style breakfast awaits. You can have pancakes, steak and eggs, hashbrowns and more. You can even take a coffee to go with you right out the door. Now that’s a breakfast.

I know this last recommendation is fast food, but hey, sometimes it makes for a great stop. That can especially be true for families with kids. Kids don’t care for all the hooplah, and they don’t like to wait for their food. A more casual environment can be very family friendly, and I’m not recommending just any fast food restaurant. Check out Raising Canes!

Raising Canes is a chicken restaurant that is supposed to be very good. And the other three picks are good as well. You just have to pick yourself a place to start with, and if you and your family are looking to enjoy another meal later, well maybe one of the other dining establishments will suit you just fine.
